Hey Everyone
Just a quick note to let you know what’s up this week at Rave Youth Ministry.
This Wednesday night is “United Worship” it is being held at Parkdale Church on Sidney street. The service starts at 7pm and is finished at 9pm.
Because of the Jr. High’s having their Christmas Party Thursday night at the church and us having United Worship the night before, there will be NO YOUTH ON THURSDAY DECEMBER 13. So make sure you get out to United Worship Wednesday night this is our service this week. Also our own Brandon Thorn will be speaking giving his testimony so get out and support him.
Also the youth and Jr. High retreat is Jan 11-13 we need your deposit in by December 30 (the sooner the better you can postdated the check to the 30th). You need to get this done right away because of the season time flies bye and you don’t want to miss out on this great weekend. If you have any questions give me a shout.
Next week we will be meeting as usual here at DSCF @ 7:00 for a fun night of Christmas celebration.
So I will see you Wednesday at Parkdale, please pass this information on to everyone so no one gets left out.

| Hello |
Well I don't know about you but I much rather have snow then this freezing rain, this is crazy. Anyway I just wanted to bring you up to date on what's happening this week at Rave Youth Ministries.
Thursday night 7:00 here at the Stream, we will be having a joint service with the Jr. High with special guest speaker "Jodie Jenkins". Make sure you plan on coming out if you have never heard JJ speak then you are in for a treat he is a lot fun when he brings the Word to you. This is a great night to bring someone new, because JJ has a real heart for youth of Belleville.
Also there will be some other special things going on food, prizes just a great night so make sure you get out.
I want to say thanks to Amanda for doing a great job planning our Christmas party last week everyone who came had a great time I know I did and the food was awesome so thanks manda:-)
Mark in your calendar Jan 11-13, because that is the weekend of your youth retreat. Make sure you pick up the info Thursday from Leanne as she plans a great weekend that I am sure will change you and your walk with God.
And the last thing to remind you of is next Wednesday (Dec12) is the United Worship night. This will be taking place at Parkdale church on Sidney street from 7-9. It will be a great night of worship with all the youth groups of Belleville. We will be doing instead of our normal youth service on Thursday.
So if you have any questions of what’s going on give me a shout, if not I will see you on Thursday.

| Good Morning |
Good Morning Everyone
I hope and pray that this Monday has been a great start to this week. Only 43 days till Christmas and that is awesome. But only 13 days till Grey Cup go Argos!!
Anyway I just wanted to let you know what's happen this week at Rave Youth Ministry. This Thursday we are back to normal with our service starting at 7:00 with awesome worship with Derek and gang and diving into God's word and what He has for us this week.
This Saturday night at 7:00 is the Bi Monthly youth and young adult service "Regnr8" with special speaker Mark Griffin. So grab a friend and plan on being here for a great night.
And next Thursday the 22nd is our Christmas Party, Amanda will have all the details Thursday night you don't want to miss this annual night of fun and celebration.
So that’s what’s up this week, I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday night.

| This Week |
Hey everyone I want to remind you of what’s up in Rave ministry this week. There is NO service because of the conference, you are welcome to come and enjoy this conference, and I hope to see you there.
Also I very proud of you and the Jr.Highs you did up 94 boxes last week for Operation Christmas Child. So I pray for blessings over you and over the boxes that you have sowed into the lives of the needy kids that will now have a great Christmas because of you. And who will experience God’s love because of it.
A reminder of some other things coming up this month. Nov 17 @ 7:00pm will be the Bi Monthly Regnr8 service with the youth and young adults. Pastor Mark Griffin will be the guest speaker that night so mark it on the calendar. Also Nov 22 is the Rave Christmas Party it will be a progressive dinner again this year. Amanda will have more details so keep an eye out for that and plan on being there.
So that’s what’s up this week I pray you have a great week at school at home and with the Lord.

| This Week |
Hey everyone, well if this weather keeps up we will have to plan trips to the beach and not the corn maze.
So this week there is a couple things going on. Thursday night is our Rave service a night of worship and word. Plan on be here it all starts at 7:00pm.
Also Friday night is our fun night, we are meeting at the church and leaving for the corn maze at 5:15 sharp. After that we will be coming back for pizza and a movie. The cost for the night is $6 per student, what a deal. So bring a friend, if you haven’t signed up yet please let myself, or Amanda Dowling know please!
And a reminder that Sunday night it is our Harvest Party here at DSCF. It starts at 6:00 and all are welcome.
So I pray that you have a great week and that you have a opportunity to touch the life of someone you come into contact with at school, work or just hangin at the mall.
Remember that God has called us to spread His love and to help rescue a generation of lost people.
So bless you all, and have a great week and I can’t wait to see you Thursday.

| What's Up |
Hey guys & gals
I hope you are having a great week, it is starting feel like fall I hope you get a chance to get out and enjoy it. Actually you will have a chance, because on Friday October 26 we are having a fun night. That night we will be meeting at 5:00 pm here at the church and then head to a corn maze at Campbell's orchard. After there we will come back to the church for food and a movie. So PLEASE let me know this week if you can make it because we have to let them know how many are coming and to make sure we have enough rides.
Also anyone interested in putting a ball hockey team together. This Saturday at Calvary Temple they are hosting a ball hockey tourney. The teams are 5 per team and there is a $20 entry fee. If you want to know more give me a shout.
This Thursday we will be gathering together for our weekly meeting at Rave. It starts at 7:00pm come with an expecting heart that God will do something in your life.
Also for you to mark in your calendar here are a couple of other things coming up. October 28 is the Harvest party at the church and you are invited to come and enjoy or help with it. And on November 1, that will be our shoe box night. We will be going out to buy stuff for packing shoe boxes to send to third world kids. Invite a friend, start saving your money, get ready to give. The goal for the Jr. High and Youth is 100 boxes.
Anyway I will see you all on Thursday night.

| Thanksgiving |
Well I am sure you are all lying on the coach, or getting ready to indulge in your Thanksgiving dinner. I know I had one yesterday and I am blessed to be having another one today. I hope you get a chance to take a moment to think about all that we can be thankful for. I know I am very thankful for so much. All the blessings in my life, for Rhonda and my kids, for friends and family. For a job that I enjoy going to, for this awesome country Canada, and so much more. So I encourage to to take the time and tell God how thankful you are for all the blessings in your life. “Psalm 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name”.
This week at Rave we have a couple of things going on. Wednesday at 7:00 at Calvary Temple it is our first United Worship of the year. This is a great time of getting together with all the other youth groups in town for a night of worship, word and fun. So grab a friend and make sure you can make it out and see who you know from other churches.
Also on Thursday night it will be our regular Rave ministry night starting at 7:00 we will be doing a couple things different again this week so make sure you get out for a great night.
Well I have to go get the stretchy pants on so I can go eat some more. So I will see you on Wednesday night.
